Gutbrain Ventures, LLC is the personal investment vehicle of Bob Davoli. He invests mostly in early stage infrastructure technology companies. Mr. Davoli is currently a partner at Sigma Prime Ventures and Sigma Partners. He has been investing personally since 1991 with his first investment in Protein Engineering Corporation which went public as Dyax Corporation in August 2000. He has served as a Director on the boards of Internet Security Systems, m-Qube, Initiate, Azuki, Aprimo, Cerulean, Dazel, eDOCS, Octane Software, Rave Wireless, StorageNetworks, Tradex, Vignette, Virtusa, and Vlingo. He currently serves as a Director on the boards of aPriori, Callminer, CarNow, CloudHealth, ExaGrid, Interactions, Mobiquity, Nasuni, Paradigm4, and Tervela. Gutbrain Ventures has also made investments in Vermeer, LogicWorks, Epoch Systems, Bluebridge Digital, CarNow, aPriori, CallMiner, Tervela, DemandJump, Interactions, OnDot Systems, ShopAdvisor, and Vivoom.
